Hello! I am a twenty something media professional who lives in Bombay (techinically Navi Mumbai). I am a not-so-proper Tamilian who attributes her love for food to her genes, really both my parents absolutely love to eat and my mother is a great cook. My first memories of food are tucking into avial and aloo podimas. I don't really cook South Indian, I leave that to the pros, Amma and Paati (mother and grandma).
I digress. I am guessing you are here because you want to know what this blog has to offer? There are recipes, a lot of sweet dishes (I have 32 sweet teeth, really. The dentist said so). Some thoughts about the places I have been to, to eat. I do that a lot, eat. I save money so I can go eat at amazing places. I save money money only for food.
I sometimes bake for money. As in, I sell cupcakes here. If you would like to order something over the weekend, do call me.
I like to study. I am rather a nerd like that. That doesn't mean I always get good grades. I am an economics graduate from Sophia College who went on to get a post graduate diploma in Communications Management. I majored in Media Management. I know it sounds all fancy and scary, it just means I make good presentations and can convince you to spend a lot of money on things you don't need. I am America. Just kidding. Not.
I love my dog, Oscar. He is the best dog in the world. He is a lot like Marley of Marley and Me. Oscar is a poser, I think it is because of him being born in the Facebook Generation. Seriously, media doesn't even leave dogs alone. You don't believe me? See for yourself:
